About the Department

The Department of B.Sc. Data Science was established in the year 2026 with initial student strength of 36. The department is committed to providing quality education in the rapidly evolving field of Data Science through a balanced curriculum that integrates theoretical knowledge with practical applications. The programme is designed to equip students with a strong foundation in data analytics, statistics, programming, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and database management.

The department is supported by qualified and experienced faculty members who are dedicated to nurturing students academic excellence and technical expertise. Students are encouraged to develop analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and decision-making skills through hands-on training, projects, workshops, seminars, and industry-oriented learning experiences.
