OBJECTIVES

1. To assist the students to identify their areas of Interests, Strengths, Weakness, Aptitude and Attitude and guide them regarding their future path.
2. To organize interactive and interesting career fairs for the students and aims to bridge between the Academic Institution and Industry.
3. To create awareness and importance of higher studies in India and Abroad.
4. To pose Career guidance and Motivational Lectures periodically by the subject experts to enhance our students personality.
5. To arrange various coaching classes/training programmes for the examinations conducted by Government and Private Sector.
6. To provide updated information available on the Job opportunities.
7. To organize Seminars/ Workshops/ Skill Development programmes to build confidence in students to perform better.
8. To provide value based training program for the students and to enhance their knowledge
9. To co-ordinate orientation programmes for freshers.
10. To sign MOU’s with various Industries/ Labs/NGO’s and to provide them hands on training on the recent technologies.
11. To arrange on campus and off campus/ virtual mode of placement opportunities by inviting reputed Institutions and companies.
12. To develop Entrepreneurship awareness amongst the students.

ACTIVITIES

1. To identify career opportunities and provide information on the availability of Jobs in different sectors like Government/ Private.
2. To optimize plans to develop the students as per their requirement (or) interest.
3. To provide Training on Communication skills/soft skills, Team building skills, Aptitude skills, Group discussion skills, Interview skills, Personality development, Behavioral training skills, Resume writing, written communication, Presentation skills.
4. To connect students to resources/ Internships/ summer training/ Projects to facilitate the career planning process.
5. To promote discipline, healthy competition and positive attitudes among the students.
6. To invite career Counselors/ Trainers from reputed Institution to guide students about Job Prospects, Conducting Aptitude test, Mock Interviews and Mock group discussions.
