SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERIZATION STUDIES OF TRANSITION METAL MG DOPED ZINC OXIDE NANO PARTICLES BY PRECIPITATION METHOD B.PRABAVATHI In ADVANCED MATERIALS AND THEIR APPLICATIONS IN PHYSICS, ADIYAMAN ARTS AND SCIENCE COLLEGE FOR WOMEN UTHANGARAI, Aug 2017.
Abstract [+]
Zinc oxide (ZnO) is an expensive optical material that has received widespread attention because of tremendous applications such as tremendous applications such as transparent conductive contacts, solar cells, ozone sensor, laser diodes, ultraviolet lasers and thin film transistors. Mg doped ZnO nanoparticles are prepared by Precipitation Method. Doping of transition metal like Mg have been incorporated in order to improve the structural and optical properties of ZnO materials. Then the detailed characterization analyses have been done from XRD, FTIR, and SEM measurements to understand the structural properties of Mg doped ZnO. In addition the optical property has been understood from the UV-Vis investigation. |
