The Controller of Examinations (CoE) office of Arcot Sri Mahaalakshmi Women’s College (Autonomous) functions with a strong commitment to transparency, efficiency and academic integrity. The College is recognized under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956, permanently affiliated with Thiruvalluvar University and accredited with an ‘A’ Grade by NAAC in its first cycle. The institution attained Autonomous status in the academic year 2025–2026.

In accordance with the standards of autonomy, the College has established a fully automated and dedicated CoE office to ensure the systematic planning, conduct, and evaluation of examinations. The office adheres to best practices in examination management, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality and the timely publication of results, thereby strengthening the institution’s commitment to academic excellence.
