Instructions for Students

INSTRUCTIONS TO THE STUDENTS

 

A.Instructions to be Followed by the Students for Theory Examinations

 

  1. Students must report to the examination centre at least 30 minutes before the    commencement of the examination.
  2. Entry to the examination hall will be permitted only upon production of a valid Hall Ticket and College ID card. Students must keep their Hall Ticket visible on their desk throughout the examination.
  3. Students must occupy the seats allotted to them and must not change their seats without the permission of the invigilator.                                   
  4. No student will be permitted to enter the examination hall after 15 minutes from the commencement of the examination.                                      
  5. Students are not permitted to leave the examination hall before the completion of the examination time.
  6. Students must not bring any unauthorized materials into the examination hall, including Mobile phones, smart watches, or electronic gadgets, Written/printed materials, notes, or books. Possession of such items may lead to disciplinary action.
  7. Communication with other candidates is strictly prohibited and any form of unfair means or Malpractice will result in strict disciplinary action.
  8. Students must not write their name or any identifying marks anywhere in the Answer script unless instructed.
  9. Students must verify that they have received the correct Question paper as per their subject and report any discrepancy immediately to the invigilator.
  10. Students must stop writing immediately when instructed and submit their answer scripts to the invigilator before leaving the hall.
  11. Students must strictly adhere to all examination rules and follow the instructions given by the invigilator. Any violation may lead to cancellation of the examination and further disciplinary action.

 

 

 

 B.Instructions to be Followed by the Students for Practical Examinations

  1. Students must report to the laboratory at least 30 minutes before the scheduled commencement of the practical examination.
  2. Entry to the laboratory will be permitted only upon production of a valid College Identity Card.
  3. Students must adhere to the prescribed dress code and follow all laboratory safety regulations.
  4. Students must verify the experiment assigned to them and ensure that all required equipment/materials are available. Any discrepancy must be reported immediately to the examiner.
  5. Laboratory equipment, instruments and materials must be handled carefully and responsibly. Any damage or malfunction must be reported immediately to the examiner or lab assistant and students will be held responsible for deliberate damage to equipment.
  6.  Mobile phones, smart watches, written notes or any unauthorized materials are strictly prohibited inside the laboratory unless specifically permitted.
  7.  Communication with other candidates in the laboratory during examination is strictly prohibited.
  8. Students must bring their duly completed and certified practical record and observation book for submission to the examiner during practical examination.
  9. Students must complete the assigned practical task within the allotted time. No extra time will be granted.
  10. Students must be present for the viva-voce examination in case of absence from viva-voce may result in incomplete evaluation.
  11. Students must strictly follow all instructions issued by the Examiner. Any violation may lead to cancellation of the examination and further disciplinary action.
