ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

The Department of B.Sc. Artificial Intelligence is committed to developing skilled professionals with strong foundations in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, and emerging digital technologies. For the Academic Year 2026–2027, the department continues to provide a dynamic learning environment that combines theoretical knowledge with practical application, enabling students to solve real-world problems using intelligent computing techniques. The curriculum is designed in accordance with industry requirements and focuses on programming, data analytics, deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, cloud computing, and ethical AI practices. Through modern laboratories, project-based learning, internships, workshops, seminars, industrial visits, and value-added courses, students gain hands-on experience and industry exposure.

During the Academic Year 2026–2027, the department places special emphasis on innovation, research, entrepreneurship, and continuous learning by motivating students to participate in technical events, hackathons, certification programs, and collaborative projects. With experienced faculty members and state-of-the-art facilities, the department aims to produce competent AI professionals who are socially responsible, ethically driven, and capable of contributing to technological advancements across various industries.

The department strives to nurture creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving ability, and lifelong learning, preparing graduates for successful careers in the rapidly evolving field of Artificial Intelligence.

Eligibility:

A Candidate should have passed the HSC with Mathematics / Business Mathematics /Statistics / Computer Science as a subject or an Examination of any other University accepted as equivalent there to by the Syndicate subject to such other conditions as may be prescribed.
