About the Department
About the Department
The department was established in the year 2017 and has since been actively contributing to the academic landscape. Currently, the department offers undergraduate programme in Biotechnology with Choice Based Credit System (CBCS), providing students, a flexible and diversified curriculum.
The department boasts diverse and experienced Faculty members. In line with fostering a holistic learning environment, the department regularly organize seminars, conferences, workshops, and entrepreneurship development programs. These initiatives aim to expose students to industry trends, research advancements and entrepreneurial opportunities. To bridge the gap between theory and practice, the department emphasizes hands on experience, Industrial visits and Internships are integral components, enhancing student’s practical understanding of their field.
To enhance the learning experience, the department actively seeks collaborations with industry partners and research institutions. These collaborations provide students with exposure to real – world challenges and opportunities, further preparing them for future careers. In addition to academic pursuits, the department encourages research and innovation.
Tracking the success of alumni serves as a testament to the department’s effectiveness. Graduates have gone on to excel in various fields, showcasing the practical skills and knowledge gained during their time in the department.
