OPTIMIZATION AND CHARACTERIZATION OF EXTRACELLULAR LIPASE PRODUCING BACTERIA FOR BIODIESEL PRODUCTION SHALINI.B In SHANLAX INTERNATIONAL JOURNALS, Marudhar Kesari Jain College For Women,Vaniyambadi, Aug 2017, Volume: 5.
Abstract [+]
Lipases catalyze the hydrolysis and the synthesis of esters formed from glycerol and long-chain fatty acids. Lipases occur widely in nature, but only microbial lipases are commercially significant. The many applications of lipases include organic synthesis, hydrolysis of fats and oils, modification of fats, flavor enhancement in food processing, resolution of racemic mixtures, and chemical analysis. In this study, the lipase producing organism was isolated for the production of biodiesel from U.lactuca. Twenty one strains were isolated and the strains were screened for the presence extracellular lipase activity. One representative isolate was chosen among the species and used for 16S rRNA gene partial sequence analysis and the results showed that the isolated species was Pseudomonas aerogenosa. The isolated P.aerogenosa was used for biodiesel production from U.lactuca. The biodiesel produced was satisfied the ASTM standard. |

Abstract [+]
There are three main areas of study under the umbrella o Mathematics -Mathematics itself ,Statistics & Operational Research.Mathematics is the art of questions about the world.Mathematics are interested in number, shape & space & in how to break complex problems into simple ones ,classifying objects and proving that a certain phenomenon must happen, can happen or indeed can't happen. |
